Walking the Wire

In a few moments I will see if there are any remnants of  last night's wire walk over the Falls. I saw on the news the magnificent display of courage and skill as Wallenda balanced himself with a long balancing rod. If he moved too much one way or the other he was prone to cascade over the falls. Well, he did have a tether on him at the insistence of his insurer.

Life is so much like walking a wire. And many decisions we make can produce drastic results if we are not "awake" when we make them. Life is an exhilarating journey when we balance our activities... stretching beyond our comfort zone at times and knowing when to rest and be still at other times.

Who keeps us balanced? Who guides our way when we are walking on thin ice or wire? We live in a field of consciousness that at its purest root always wants us to move to our greater good. It's creative and affirming impulse is constant.

Wallenda showed us that in the midst of great distraction we can stay on task. We can block out the chatter and the movement around us and stay focused and succeed at our dreams. He proved we can all make our dreams manifest.

Pic.... water!
