Is There A Conversion in the Air??

On my way to Detroit I drove through Windsor. On the hotel signs was the message, "Welcome Watchtower Convention". Now at the Marriott where the Unity conference is there is also a Baptist conference. My friend joked, "Who's going to convert who?"

I think it's human nature that I want you to like what I like and to believe what I  believe. Perhaps that's because we feel better about ourselves when others agree with us? Good thing Unity is not into converting others to our way. It is not our mission, as it is for other faith communities. We don't have to "save" anyone.

That saves us a lot of work, right? When we think we have to "fix" others or save others, that takes a lot of eeennneeerrrgggyyy! Instead let's be the example of love in action and that will naturally attract others to what we are doing. At the same time, we can appreciate that whatever faith blesses them is good.. because it blesses them.

Pic... There are a lot of fish in our pond. I could waste a lot of energy trying to catch them. Instead I'll just let them swim around in their own pond.
