One of Those Days

Have you ever had one of those days where you got up with a big plan to accomplish lots? Yesterday was that day for me. I haven't been home a lot and I need to clean and de clutter. However the day got sidetracked by a trip to Costco to look for a  deck bench. Because we wanted to comparison shop we went to two other stores and eventually returned to Costco to purchase one. A short trip turned into a 3 hour outing. 

Home again, I remembered I had research to do for that evenings board meeting, and before you know it, the afternoon was gone. The house no cleaner. I am remembering a leader who said that you stick with one job until it is done. Working on this and that doesn't accomplish what you want.

So there is hope of another day to do what needs to be done. But whatever you have to do today or wherever you need to go be present to that. We waste energy thinking we "should" be doing something else. We aren't, so, let's make peace with that. It takes letting go doesn't it?
