Compassion

I wonder if what the world needs now is.....compassion. Love yes but compassion goes a long way. We have a lot of people in our life and their journeys are often different from ours. Because of that we might want to change them.

Yesterday I wrote about singing the song of your heart. Changing others might look like wanting them to play in your band under your direction. The real journey is letting them march to their own beat and when they have challenges it's for you to share compassion. You don't have to fix anything for them in fact it's best you don't. They and you are on a hero's journey rich with the opportunity for spiritual growth.

It's not always an easy one but it can be fun, exciting and certainly interesting.
