I've Arrived

I feel like I am in heaven. I have arrived in Victoria BC. The hotel is on the harbour and we can watch water taxis, water planes, yachts, ferries and kayaks all in front of us here. The buildings beside us look like condominiums and there is water there too and a constant flock of seagulls bathing in their water.

I've always thought if I could live anywhere I'd like to live on the water and or where I can see the mountains... oh.. and the sunset!

Tonight our pre-conference training begins and continues until Thursday at 1pm. Right out our door on the harbour is a whale watching company! A few of us have talked about going out. We only have a few windows of opportunity to do so, so we'll see.
