It's the day..
before the day.. before Christmas
and all through the land
people were scurrying to buy popular brands.
Jimmie wants this and Sarah wants that
Mommy and Daddy with no time to chat
instead they are busy, tired and sad?
that the joy of Christmas has become something bad.
Well, not bad so much as
it's meaning is lost
the joy of the season all but tossed
out with the shopping, where is the joy?
it can't be found within even one toy.
