I saw the movie Cloud Atlas yesterday. Maybe 30 minutes into it I was thinking, "Whatttt???" and then at some point that changed to, "this is interesting". It's a movie that has a number of stories and is constantly switching from one to another. Add to that the different time periods and one age where the english is a version of our english. "Summer" becomes "sumson".
There is a message for sure and a vision of a scary looking future where there is a definite class system. I'm not sure what else to say. It's one of those movies that stays with you and reveals itself long after you see it. I think, I hope.
